Fluffy omelette with cottage cheese and chives
This dish is a born universal. You can get by with basic foods and a few minutes of time. Nutritionally, this dish is also great for breakfast, but it can also be used as a pre-workout meal or as a light dinner. It is therefore not a bad idea to have this recipe in your memory, or at least somewhere in your bookmarks, because it can pull a thorn out of your heel if you are hungry and look for salvation in the fridge. You will also appreciate it on weekends, when the Yes Boxes are resting and you don't want to prepare anything tediously and dirty your kitchen.
Eggs are therefore our tip for a light diet full of nutrients, for which you do not need a lot of time. You yourself know how many ways they can be prepared, and this is one of them. Although it is simple, it requires precision. Therefore, read carefully so that your omelette is also beautifully fluffy.
Ingredients needed:
- Eggs 3 pcs
- Water 30 ml
- Salt 2 g
- Pepper 1 g
- Cottage 50 g
- Chives 5 g
- Olive oil 40 ml
- Wild lettuce 30 g
- Lemon 1 pc
Preparation procedure:
- Crack the eggs into a bowl, add water and whisk thoroughly until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Mix the cottage cheese with 10 ml of olive oil, salt and pepper. Add freshly chopped chives.
- Pour 20 ml of oil into the pan and heat to medium. Eggs must not start burning immediately. The slower you prepare them, the softer and fluffier they will be.
- Pour the eggs into the heated pan and let them set on the underside for a while.
- Then, stir lightly like scrambled eggs to create a fluffy interior and slowly fold into the omelette. The omelette should therefore be slightly runny inside.
- Cut the surface of the omelet with a knife and fill with seasoned cottage cheese.
- Mix the wild salad with olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon juice. Add it to the omelette plate and serve.
The mixing in the fifth step is very crucial. This is because you will create a fluffy inside of the omelet, which will melt beautifully in your mouth, and the eggs will not be so plain and heavy. Be careful, however, that the omelette remains whole. You must not tear it, it would not be able to be wrapped afterwards. Simply fluff it up.
TIP: If you have the opportunity, use eggs from home farms. They have a deep yellow color and are richer in nutrients. You can get them at markets, or ideally from someone you know. But if this is not within your power, choose such eggs in stores that have the lowest possible initial code number. Ideally 0 or 1. With such eggs, you can be sure that they are ethically farmed and come from well-nourished hens.
And as for the side dish, if you prefer bread with these dishes, reach for some fresh whole grain or rye bread. You certainly won't spoil anything, it just depends on your preferences.
And then just sit back to the delicious result and enjoy a great meal loaded with fiber, protein and healthy fats with the best taste. You will feel light and full after it and will not deviate from your diet.
