Times are getting very strange in many ways. One of them is the skyrocketing prices of almost everything. This is due to the constantly escalating adverse series of events that the world has been dealing with for several years. But today we will mainly deal with the price of food. We will pay many percent more for food in 2022 than it was at the beginning of the previous year. And maybe it's not the end and the amount spent on food purchases will increase, but let's not think about it. A better topic is this question: Is there any way to save? All we need to answer is a few calculations that we have put together for you. Let's take a look at them.

What is the average monthly expenditure on food and groceries in the Czech Republic?

The money is rolling. We probably all know that. A hundred kroner here, a hundred kroner there, we don't even expect to spend over ten thousand kroner a month on food. Don't you believe? In the following calculation, we will assume that the average price of a full-fledged meal in a normal average restaurant is 165 CZK (we will not count drinks) and you will currently pay something around 1,500 CZK for a purchase for seven days, and since we have to add transport costs to this amount, we will work with in the amount of CZK 2,500. So what are the results?

If you cook every day, the calculation is quite simple. CZK 2,500 in four weeks equals CZK 10,000. You might be thinking right now that you have a store just around the corner, so you don't need to drive or use public transport. Although this will save you a bit of money, you still don't waste time. You spend a lot of it cooking, shopping and handling food. What if you invested it, for example, in some profitable activity? And despite the fact that this part-time job called food preparation is also disadvantageous due to waste. Just think about how much uneaten food and spoiled food you throw away every month. We bet all the boxes, surely there will be more than necessary. Unfortunately, wasting food is just like wasting money. And we don't want that.

If, like the vast majority of working people, you also don't have time to cook and shop every day, it's completely clear and understandable that you might as well "jump" for a meal once or twice a day. Or you can order it, which is also not free. As we wrote above, CZK 165 is the average , you simply cannot pay less for lunch or dinner in a normal restaurant. If you eat at a restaurant once a day and you can prepare breakfast and dinner at home, you will have a minimum monthly expenditure of CZK 4,950. With import, it will cost you at least 1,000 crowns more. Unfortunately, you need more than one meal to live, so even with this lifestyle you cannot do without shopping and cooking. Therefore, you definitely have not won. After adding half the expenses for food, our calculations rise again to ten thousand crowns . And if you hate cooking or simply can't keep up, full sustenance from restaurants will cost you even more.

How to save?

Easily. The box diet is no bullshit. It will save you not only a lot of time, but also money. One day at Yes Krabiček starts at 392 crowns with daily delivery to your home. This kind of catering will cost you 7,840 CZK per month. This price includes three healthy whole meals with balanced macronutrients, so you don't have to worry about a thing. Every day, our courier will bring you fresh and tasty dishes, which will therefore save you at least 2,160 crowns per month , and you will have even more free time for all of this. You can dedicate it to work and earn more, or invest it in activities that will make you happier than cooking and standing in long lines at the cash registers. So what do you choose?
